Jean de Florette &
In my opinion the movie Jean de Florette and Manon de la Source are very good, different for sure but very good. In Jean de florette, ugolin and Cesar were looking for land to plant carnattions but on their try to buy a pice of land a man is killed and the land is inherited by Jean. Cesar and his nephew make Jean believe the land is worth nothing, and that there is no water. Ugolin tries convincing him to go to the city and have the educated and nice life he deserves. Secretly ugolin and cesar block the water so Jean woul never find it. In the try if finding water he dies when a rock hits him in the head after an explosion. Minutes after he dies Cesar and ugolin find te source and celebrate Jeans dead when manon is present.
Manon de la Source was a very good movie in my opinion, although it was very depressing. In this movie, Manon lives in the hills taking care of sheep quite out there from her fathers dead. Ugolin who is still alive believes he is in love with her and does all in his hands to make her fall in love with him., to get to the point to leave a little percent on his right side. Sadly, Manon falls in love with the new teacher in town. Angry, after listening to people in town talking about their knowledgeable about the water on her fathers property makes her look for revenge. Once Ugolin decides to confess his love for her in public, she accuses him of killing her dad. Ugolin realizes he will never have the chance to be with her, so he commits suicide. Time passes and Manon marries the teacher, and one of Florettes friends comes to town, telling Cesar about Florettes pregnancy, and how Jean was his son. Cesar cant bare the pain, leaving all his things to Manon and soon after dies.
This movie is so tragic and sad.
Est ce que vous le film? J'aime le film parceque c'est dramatique, triste et surprenant.
Je m'appelleras Manon de la Nuit.

My opining about Egypts current problems...
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/29/technology/internet/29cutoff.html
Everything happening in Egypt is just a tragedy. I could not believe the government could do something such as shutting down the Internet & cell phone service to keep people uncommunicative. I feel like people from all over the world should have the right to be free! We should all be free and able to know what is happening in the world. I don't exactly know what is happening with the govermnment, just the basics, but I do know things need to change. If the government promised something, they should stick to their word so that people can believe in what they say. If I was part of the government I just know I would do as much as I could to make my nation a good, safe one. I just don't understand how you could cause so much harm to the place you live in, to YOUR people!!!We are in another century, we NEED to know what is happening. Our rights just can't be shut and we can't be ignored. I just hope things can get better, and Egypct can find a peacful solution to the problem.

iPod post!
So here I'm in French class trying out the iPods for class.
I think I'm going to write about my day so far... I went to bed at 2:30am finishing homework. I'm really tired. We got home around 11:00pm. The girls had an insane game last night! They went to over time and beat an undefeAted team!
It was awesome! Hopefully there will be a game tonight.

Why is taking a foreing launguage so important?
Some people believe speaking one language is enough, but for me it isn't.
When I just to live in Mexico I really saw no point in learning another language, but when I moved to the US, I realized how stupid you can look and feel for not understanding a thing people say to you.
Now I guess you can call me a language freak, trying to learn as many languages as I can. I think its so important and interesting, with language you learn about new cultures, accents and its easier to communicate! I now know English, Spanish and want to learn FRENCH!
